I'm aware of this, but he's an adult and I can't make him do something that he doesn't want to do.
At the end of the day it will come down to accept assistance or stop flying! Hopefully it won't take a trip to hospital following a fall in the the airport to force the decision.
You could possibly see whether a
rollator with seat would be an acceptable compromise
