If I choose flights with a 12 hour layover, will they be able to check my bag all the way to SIN without me having to retrieve and recheck it? Yes, it should be checked through. Make sure you book the transit hotel in advance. It gets full. And it is not fun spending that many hours in the KE lounge, if you have access to it.
