Trying to decide between these 3 hotels for a 2-night stay . I've got Titanium status, if that helps, so should get breakfast for 2.
Please reply if you have any experience with them! Also, please correct me if my understanding from this thread and all 3 individual hotels' threads is wrong.

1) Grand Universe Lucca-- EUR 256-- location is center of a small town, lovely rooftop, smaller rooms (?), minimal upgrades, decent breakfast. No pool (?)
2) Grotto-- EUR275 -- somewhat remote (?) location, cool caves and thermal baths, extra cost (I've read 25 and 50 Euros) to enter the coolest parts, minimal upgrades, decent breakfast, slightly worn furnishings.
3) Renaissance--EUR189-- remote location, older furnishings, decent breakfast, better chance at upgrades, outdoor pool closed till May

FYI we are tempted by the Grotto due to the hot springs but if there is a heated pool at the others, that would be fine too.
