Well as a follow up to my original question, and as a thanks to all who replied and whos advice I used, here is my story, and it just shows how fast BAEC can really be.
The qualifying flight I took was the short MAN to IOM hop taken Sunday 7th March... Total cost for the H class ticket (booked on the phone) £203.30....

Plus I also booked another cheap economy ticket for my wife Cost £113.30.

Now you may say this is all well and good, but my reason for this update is to say, well done BAEC.

Why, because I flew on the 7th March and all my miles and tier points have posted today the 8th March, not only my miles but also my wifes miles which incidently go into our "household account". Now thats another BAEC pat on the back, it took just 28 days to set up the Household account, my wife and sons EC cards have also arrived.

In these days of poor service and slow performance I really felt that this praise was well earned.

I now feel more confident that the miles from my three WT+ LHR to SYD tickets later this year will now be deposited in my account correctly.
