I had a reasonably nice weeklong stay at the Hilton Bandung with my daughter.

Lili Yulianti is just back from maternity leave, and was just great with everything she handled. This property has very few suites (maybe just 2), and a wedding on Saturday kept us from a suite upgrade Friday and Saturday nights. We did get the Junior suite for the remaining 5 nights.

Prepaid rates were pretty reasonable, probably because it’s a slow time during Ramadan. About $80 per a night. I did get a peculiar email a couple days after booking, ask for a bank transfer for the stay. I had provided my Hilton Amex card for the prepaid stay, as normal. When I emailed the Hilton management I was assured the email was legit. Still, when I provide my Hilton Amex at other Indonesian properties, it’s processed correctly.

There are a lot of new staff at the property for this stay. The Executive Lounge was not as impressive as our last stay. And they closed it for evening food and cocktails starting on Sunday. They did arrange to deliver a nice assortment of items to our suite. Lili was great, and I could tell when she arranged things as it was so much better!
