I just called CO.O.L. to finalize a reservation using the prestige pack companion certificate (Reward code OPCR). The T&C's on the back of the cert don't mention any restrictions on upgrades, but the T&C's on the CSR's screen stated no upgrades allowed. Has anyone else had any luck getting a companion upgrade using the cert? F is wide open on the flights I'm looking at from EWR - MSY and I'm relatively certain that I will be able to get the Mrs. up front with me. If upgrades are not allowed I probably won't use the cert for this trip; I'll save it for a jungle jet trip.
