Wrong mileage credited / no status bonus - how to correct?
I am new to AY Plus since a few weeks (I’m one of those BAEC refugees…), hence forgive me this asked-only-once-at-the-beginning question:
With one of my recent flights I passed the 15’000 TP threshold to reach Silver level. If I understand correctly, there is as 10% bonus on Avios and TP for flights done with BA. However, the flight subsequent to my passing the Silver threshold did not show that 10% credit. I suppose that this is due to the very slow and patchy data transmission of data from BA to AY (“the once-per-month all-flights-in-one-spreadsheet data transmission method”) which did not properly pick up that I changed status in the middle of the spreadsheet’s reporting period.
Or did I misunderstand the mechanics of the program, should I not expect a 10% Avios/TP bonus on a BA flight?
If however I understood correctly, how can I claim the missing bonus? Normal retrocredit request would probably not lead anywhere because it’s not a case that the flight has not been credited. It’s just the wrong number of Avios/TPs. Is there an email address that I can send my question/request to?
