So it's been a year since i wrote this review. The only thing that has changed is that the SQ lounge at LHR has reopened. They still have not fixed the IFE which continues to turn itself on which is particularly annoying on an overnight flight. I guess you might say they did fix it Thai Airways style. They put a cover over it. Can you imagine?? The return visit to the TG lounge in BKK was as bad as it was a year ago. I counted 8 attendants standing there as you enter doing absolutely nothing. Not once did they come around pro-actively and offer guests any service. I ordered a club sandwich which i had to ask for twice and was inedible. In flight service was quite pleasant as was the food if you stick with Thai. Baggage delivery on both ends is always super fast.
