Can't select seats
Hi everyone
I booked an avios booking with BA for an Iberia flight to Tokyo. I chose seats I liked. About a month ago, I got an email saying an aircraft change means I've been changed to a horrible row. I logged in to Iberia and changed again but it didn't save. I've tried several times now. I just phoned Iberia and they said I'm row 46 - on the website row 46 shows as occupied but not by us, by someone else/just generic occupied. So I guess when I pick new seats it cancels out or something because I then have two sets of seats? I don't know.
Either way, Iberia said they can't pick new seats for me because it's a BA ticket, yet when I logon to BA it takes me to the Iberia website to do it, where it won't save the seats.
Has anyone come across this issue before? How do I change where I'm sitting, or am I doomed to remain in for 4😂
