Here's a hotel I am considering for a stay in about two months from now, it opens March 21:

Spark by Hilton Yucca Valley Joshua Tree

Used to be a Surestay Plus by Best Western if you have ever heard of that... Their summer rate schedule is just over $100, which is far better than the rates at Autocamp Joshua Tree and many other Hilton-affiliated properties in California. I'll probably also stay in the backcountry of Joshua Tree NP, which is just $6 for a permit. I'm taking along an extra bag with some camping gear, thanks to the Hilton/Delta Gold promotion at the end of last year.
