Yes, all UC passengers have access to the D1 lounge (and private check-in too if originating from LAX). I'd highly recommend it as it's more like a First Class lounge; quieter than Star Alliance with a better menu and table service plus a wellness section. Allow for a 12-15 walk from TBIT in each direction. But if the VS clubhouse is open by the time you fly, that might be a better option.
