Flew this service yesterday evening, and my gosh - one of my best First flight ever - and this was all down to having 1 of the best FA from start to end of the flight, this Scottsman was totally perfect in what you would expect in First. Not sure if any of you ever had him before, Barry - but he if I dare say would have fit perfectly even for SQ First or Suite! Addressed pax by name, before pouring showing bottles to the pax, proactive and able to predict the needs of pax. Truly blown away by this level of service especially from BA. I submitted a golden ticket. The IFM on the other hand, was nearly none existence, I only heard her during the pre-take off and pre/post-landing. Other than that ZERO contact with pax.
Food wise - OK in general. I had preferred the pre-landing meal options. Arrived into BOS early and with GE, went from airport to hotel in about 30 mins after letting off the plane!
Cheers!
Amuse was ok but not really tasty
The avocado crab dish was not to my taste.
Beef was overcooked sadly
Love this pre landing appetizers of salmon and crab
This raviolis with ragout was good
This was a special dessert. Did not take the one offered in the pre landing menu
