So I was waitlisted, and it has not cleared in the first 72 hours. I called back and the guy said it could take longer than 72 hours, and that this was just some approximate. A few followup questions for the veterans here:
1. How long should I be waiting approximately until I should assume that this is not going to clear?
2. Should I call back in and ask to be waitlisted for a few different flights for my route? (right now I just did the non-stop)
3. Will this new M&M Award booking system that is coming in June make it so that if there are Z/D tickets (which there are, but no P), that I can guarantee an award booking at the cost of more miles?
