Just a quick question on the validity of the voucher. I have one valid until early 2027. I looked at the downgrade link in this thread and the downgrade T’s&C’s and its states:

If you have already reached the £10,000 spend threshold, you may receive a Companion Voucher that is valid for 12 months, rather than 24 months. If you would like to extend the validity of the Companion Voucher to 24 months, please contact British Airways customer service directly and they will look into extending the validity of the Companion Voucher for you.

Which confuses me since the voucher now triggers at £15,000.

And is already in my BAEC account anyway.

Also no mention of the pro-rata refund. Is that discretionary?

PS And does no longer having the BAPP mean I can no longer see the additional I class availability? Or is that linked to my Gold status (which is going later this year)?
