Well, I've forgotten to put the money in the bank account before doing a BiltProtect debit before. I didn't get charged a fee. I assume you might get a few failed tries for free

With credit card payments there is a 3% transaction fee, with a minimum fee of $3. Debit card payments have a fixed fee of $9.95
In the logged in FAQ, there's also this. Is this the first time they have acknowledged it?
You can make housing related payments for up to one residential property per month, these may include: security deposits, HOA fees, college housing, utilities or internet.
