Google sheets to track booked flights?
Sorry if this has already been discussed, I imagine it would have been but I couldn't find anything when searching Flyertalk.
My family of 5 is starting to fly a lot more than we used to and I'm struggling to find a solid way to keep track of flights; I've always used Google Sheets, and shared it with my spouse.
Wondering if any seasoned travelers have a tried & true format that they can share?
I currently include these columns:
Overview (ie: BUF - JFK - LHR)
Flight (ie JetBlue B6 2901)
Date of departure
Time of departure
Time of arrival
Flight/Layover duration
Confirmation code
Seat assignments
if applicable: Local departure time (if tz different)
if applicable: Local arrival time (if tz different)
Cost of flight in $ or points
Notes
I then break up flight legs per row, so it's easy to visually see departure times, layover duration, etc in a sequential way.
Any better system? Are there any fancy Google Sheet integrations that could maybe offer some additional value-add? If you have a great sheet system could you consider sharing it?
Thanks for any ideas!
