OK. Chatted with a hotel dude (under 35) about this magic door.

He said the Wet Floor sign stuck in the door was because of ongoing construction.

He said you push the square button next to where the cassette tape goes in to speak to the front desk and give them your name and room number to be buzzed in.

The Young Lad claimed that that eventually you’ll be able to tap your key card on the white box to the right to be let in.

He didn’t think you needed your key card to operate the Lift.

Young Lad said people who haven’t checked in can not use that entrance due to the “convoluted hallways” and the difficulty in making your way to the front desk.

Anyone who has stayed here understands the twisty hallways and the steps up and down that appear at random.

Tomorrow after my Rabbie’s tour to St. Andrew’s I will see if I can contact the front desk via the intercom to be let in. And report back.

Also will figure out the correct Exit from Waverly to Jeffrey “street”.
