I just booked a PD flight through AS in M class and it indicates PorterClassic Basic fare when I enter the confirmation code on PD. Alaska indicates this is a Main (Coach) fare, but when I checked the fare rules afterward, it does say at the very end - "CARRY-ON BAGGAGE WILL BE CHECKED AT THE GATE FOR A FEE OF 47.50-112.50 USD.". Called AS and they ended up confirming it was a basic fare and that they will send a note about this issue. They were not able to price out a Standard fare for me though, so I ended up cancelling it.
