Fully agree - worth mentioning that the JW Marriott is also very close to two parks (Hong Kong park - has a play area, and turtles, Tamar Park - just lots of greenery) and a number of playgrounds, which can be good if the kids don't care about seeing HK and just want to play. The Sheraton also has a park very nearby, Signal Hill Park, above the East TST station)

Note, there could be an argument that the Marriott Ocean Park (Resort) is the most family suitable property in HK - large rooms, great outdoor pool (if visiting from April to October). However it comes with pretty much zero Marriott benefits in comparison to any other Marriott property due to it being a resort - it is also further away from anything but Ocean Park (worth a visit with smaller kids if you like animals, but certainly not a classic Hong Kong experience), local regulars dislike it as a result, but worth mentioning just in case you don't have Marriott status, and only want to earn points.
