Possibly, but IMHO the beancounters would have to be convinced that is significantly more profitable than doing other things with those same aircraft.
Now I have no idea of the numbers but I suspect that if the difference per aircraft was, say £50k per annum they would not bother. But if it was, say £250k or more… then the beancounters might be swayed.
