Generally speaking, Greeks airports are very poor in terms of passengers experience. ATH is the best but can be a zoo sometime. Other airports are way too small, even after some extensions, and offer no or very limited Premium services.
As an example, here is a picture I took from the departure hall of JMK (Mykonos) last September . Not a single seat available for 30min (until a flight boarded). There is a small lounge but most airlines do not provide access to it.

To come back to JTR, do not expect anything fancy or premium. But it will be fine. Enjoy this superb island.
Thank you both very much. Departure time is 6:40 pm on a Thursday in June. Local flight to Athens on Aegean in business class. No checked bags. Might make more sense to wait in my hotel lobby? The only uncertainty is how long it takes to clear security. This looks like the kind of airport where you'd want to arrive just 45 minutes before the flight, but if security takes over an hour, you'll be stuck there for much longer!
