Well, that's just great. I was totally planning on taking a shower there during a 4ish hour layover after a flight from the US. Why would someone close showers?? Cut cleaning and soap costs? And if these are shared with the JAL F lounge, I'd be pretty ticked off as a JAL (or other) OWE getting ready for a long flight to Japan after a full day in city, or connecting.

According to the JAL website, there are supposed to be showers. For all of their poor functionalities on the website, information on lounge facilities is usually spot on. Out of commission for the day? Fully booked until departure? Other reason? I don't know, but I'd expect it to be a one-off rather than a permanent state of affairs.

In the lounge at the moment and showers were working thankfully

My faux pas for not updating on this.. I arrived there the LAST day they were closed. I talked to the lounge manager, and he said the fault was.. JAL moving so slow to order the right parts to fix the water heater for the showers. Slow approval process etc. They were to fix it that day (and I was there early AM). Anyway, there's the story, and I should have shared this earlier.
