From what I remember, the very first Lumo bag that AY was giving out didn't fit in the ATR bin. Luckily, on those few ATR flights the crew was generally helpful to store it in the back so one didn't need to bother checking the bag in. Those were the days when AY started losing sense so no surprise it doesn't work anymore.
