This is interesting. I flew AGP-LGW a few days ago and, honestly, all I could think during that flight was that I can't believe how much the standard of BA has fallen in the last 10 years. Cheap looking uniforms and a crew that were lazy and disinterested in doing anything other than having what seemed like a college get together in the galley. There was certainly no proactive service on this flight.
At the point where the captain announced that we were 15 minutes to landing, one of the crew walking toward the rear of the plane saw I had an empty wine glass on my table. She just picked it up and put it in the (C) seat pocket (I was in A) before continuing to walk to the rear.
On the plus side, the food was good.
