Just did this as part of the end and the start of a AONE (Oneworld round the world first class ticket), and I choose this rather than the direct HKG-TYO to get more tier points (before that goes away), and as JAL doesn't seem to release A seats to AA. And yes, not that many reviews of this with pictures, so hopefully it helps someone

.
This was my first business suites return, KUL-NRT. Since I returned on the same plane I experienced both the day and night flight on the same day, though with different crews.
Overall, whilst this was a business plus, rather than first minus (hello BA!) experience, it was a good set of flights. The challenge is that these planes will apparently be refitted next year to remove these seats and add more business. As such, if you'd like to try this, crack on with it sooner rather than later.
Seat
Comfortable to sit in, with limited adjustment capability. It worked well enough for the day flight as its spacious and a large table. However the night flight felt a little squeezed even though I'm only 6ft/180cm, plenty of leg room, but maybe not quite long enough. The bedding, set up by the crew, was comfortable though.
Entertainment
You had an excellent quality screen, an OK selection of films and TV, but heavy censorship. Even swear words were blanked out, and the movies did have burned in subtitles. So, not the ideal experience.
Food & Drink
Well, I now know that Malaysia grows it's own caviar (served out of KL), and though it's an interesting mix of Malaysian satay, then caviar, then Malaysian main, western desert (no choice). I enjoyed the food I had, but this was definitely not up to Qatar levels of quality, or service, eg breads a bit dry, slow clearing up, quite random taste pairings. Champagne, tasted cheap and ran out on the outbound, was served in very small almost plastic flutes. Wines were better, rated 4.1/4.2 on vinvino and priced about USD50-60 retail.
It's worth mentioning that the catering really varies from each station. No champagne on the ground in KUL, but you get Guava juice. From NRT champagne was no problem, but no Guava. And I really did not enjoy the Japanese set from NRT, which is a surprise as you'd expect high quality, should have stuck with Malaysian.
Service
Was excellent both ways, you have two crew members for four passengers. And those crew members were very happy to chat and share stories, plus experienced. I found out plenty about MH, their fleet, engine troubles, plans etc. And there was a third person in the middle of the flight whilst your main FAs had a break. Overall this was the closest part of the flight to first class, it was like a good BA flight where the attendants are more like someone you're chatting to in the pub.
Note, if doing this route b2b, it isn't great, there is a 5 hour layover, though the desks don't open till 3.5 hours or so in advance. So quite a bit of waiting, if like me the boarding pass wouldn't let me do it by myself. Not much chance of missing the plane though!
Plenty of photos follow now
The seat
Welcome drinks, those champagne flutes are far too small
NRT-KUL: Welcome nibble, didn't taste very nice
NRT-KUL: Caviar, not from Malaysia
NRT-KUL: Japanese meal - starter. Tasted worse than it looked
NRT-KUL: Japanese meal - main course. Tasted worse than it looked
NRT-KUL: Desert
KUL-NRT: Satay course (you can tell as this included Chilli, that wasn't available on the NRT-KUL leg)
Menu - Helpfully its the same menu card both ways... though that's a bit cheap... the food was different, but seems I forgot to take a picture of the NRT-KUL one.
