So I last flew PS in 2018. At the time there was no Premium Plus and E+ got free hot meal + alcoholic beverages.

UA page currently says "Economy Plus on our premium domestic flights comes with extra legroom and free food, snacks and non-alcoholic drinks.* and Premium Plus says "You’ll also receive free drinks (including alcohol), hot meals, snacks and desserts."
  1. I'm assuming that even if the A/C doesn't have a premium plus section, no alcohol in E+, right?
  2. What is "free food" for E+... they avoid saying meal. I'm assuming that they would generally hand out either a cold meal or something like a snackbox, right?
