The Regent Pudong is perfect for visiting the immediate area and is less than an hour by metro from PVG airport (or even faster if you take the Maglev train).

The Regent on the Bund is just beautiful, with a fantastic restaurant and top-notch service: perfect for visiting the Rockbund Art Museum, some of the best art galleries (I'll report back tonight to inspire Raynyan to stay there).
