I too would like to see SAN service restored. It adds 2.5-3.0 hours to clear customs at LAX and then schlepp to American Eagle for the bi-plane trip to SAN. At one time, BA used to extend one of its daily flights from LHR-LAX to serve SAN also. If the F/J loads are inadequate I can't see them doing this again.
