I am fdlying with my wife in May to attend Son's wedding in US.
BHX-CDG-DTW-CLT return is slightly different. We had our original flight from Dublin Changed by Delta who are providing the transatlantic leg
DELTA AIR LINES, DL229 Airbus A330-300. Landing at DTW.
Since December this flight has a pretty poor record of getting in on time according to flightradar24 and our connecting flight has 1hr 25m so given we have to go though immigration its looking a bit tight.
On our original booking I could see the flight on Delta's site and book seats I *think* there were upgrade options but I can't recall and it didn't really matter because we had plenty of time to connect. So I wanted to find the best way to be sure to exit the aircraft as promptly as possible. I was hoping to find a way to get as far up the Main cabin as possible. Paying to choose a seat or upgrading a class would both be acceptable at a pinch. KLM helpfully offered to upgrade the outbound flight to premium economy for about 4500€. I politely (really I was) declined.
The options given to me right now are just these. We will both be FB Silver at the time of the flight if this helps

Any advice?
