Due to pre change BAH double TP trip in May I’ll be able to keep my silver going until April 2027 , so for me that’s almost 9 SH returns in Y to AGP with all the perks , or 1 SH in Y and 1 long haul in J for £1789. So still good value imo. Also I like the flexibility I’ve got a plethora of returns to AGP for June but due to various unconfirmed commitments I’m not sure which ones I need as of yet. Just booked my grown up kids a reward flight for LGW-AGP in June (typically only space in CE !) to stick them on our flight from LHR ( where we are on reward booking) was £450 each in Y one way!

Also need at least 270,000 for long haul J 2-4-1 booking. Although actual cost is 180,000.

So I like to have that reserve to be able to dip in and out of.
