Posted this in the VS forum a week ago; crickets. So trying here as it pertains to Delta Gold status on VS reward flights, any skyteam benefits?:

3 of us flying MCO-EDI on 4/8 VS Economy, returning 4/16 VS Premium, on points I move from AMEX with the DEC '24 40% multiplier promo. I'm Gold on Delta, other 2 are just Skymiles members. I booked all 3 of us on a single booking.

1) During booking I was able to add the Delta skymiles #s for the other 2, but my "Frequent Flyer AIrline" field was greyed out and showed my VS Flying Club info, I assume to ensure the points were pulled from my VS account. After booking I removed my VS#, and replaced it with my Delta#, now I'm identified as SKYTEAM ELITE PLUS and the other two are just SKYTEAM MEMBERS. Should I now be able to select the PREFERRED seats in the front of ECONOMY that are otherwise $37? Do I/we get to pick from ECONOMY DELIGHT? Do all 3 pax on the booking also get that benefit (they would if I had booked us on a Delta flight)? Any other benefits I should be aware of?

2) Will we earn Delta MQDs on these flights? Reward flights but with $ fees/taxes

3) The outbound is 4/8, a month away, and maybe 10% booked? Some seats are "X" out, similar to Delta, front few rows, back few rows, I assume held for disabled/VIP/basic economy fare not yet assigned? But over 90% of the seats seem to be "bookable". Do I need to be concerned about the flight being cancelled and pax moved to the day before/after?
