Will not be a problem to check bags through. I have done it twice with airlines Starlux “doesn’t have an agreement with.” Just need to have all the connecting flight details. Preferably digital boarding pass. But one of my flights I didn’t have that and they made it work.

Does anyone know if Starlux would allow a same-day change to an earlier flight on an AS Business award ticket? My wife will be flying into BKK on Thai Airways/TG and she will have a six hour wait until her flight. Unfortunately it does not appear that JX and TG have an interline agreement so she cannot check her bags through so she probably cannot use the transfer desk. (FYI, at SIN they are really good and can usually get things like this done at the transfer desk, but I would not expect that at BKK. Any data points here?).
There is a flight about three hours after our anticipated arrival, and, assuming our incoming flight is on time, would be great if she could take that.
Alternatively, it would be just as good if they would at least check her in about five hours before her flight given that the ticket counter will be open for the earlier flight. Normal check-in time according to Starlux is three hours. That alone would be helpful, as she could go airside and hang out at the lounges. Is an earlier check-in likely? It may be a YMMV, but wondering if anyone has any experiences with this?
