AUH-LHR-LAX MAR 15th 2025

Today is going to be a bit of a slog. We are 3 hours away from LHR where I'll need to connect from T5 to T3 for the AA flight 135 to LAX.

My flight number to LAX is the same as was my room number in Abu Dhabi at the Radisson. I say that for no other reason other than it's a bizarre coincidence and I'm possibly losing my mind a little. Seriously though, I feel fine and well rested after a good night's sleep. I have no lack of work and pleased to report that the BA WiFi is doing an excellent job.

Even with the start of daylight savings time in the US I'm crossing 11 timezones so the day will last 35 hours. I booked the Hyatt at LAX because it's walking distance from the airport and all being well I should be there by about 10pm PST which I think is 8am Abu Dhabi meaning I'll have been on the go for 26 hours. I'm planning on getting some rest on the AA flight later on today.
