Unless your son earned silver or above in the 2024 year, then will drop to silver and then bronze in quick succession.
They may have benefitted from extended status to get to this point or they may not, but an old style year end in Feb is pretty much garaunteed to be the worst case.
I understood that the silver status would last for the 12 months or so, so you would not be disadvantaged from the membership year changes. But in 2026, it will end when the card expires. Subject of course to TPs earned after 1 April.
