Out of interest based on Wizla's pre-upgrade note above - what are people's experiences of upgrades here?

The last five times I have been upgraded to a Deluxe rather than executive. Still very nice room with a free bottle of wine on check-in and I've chosen the room at the end of the row by the lifts every time as I prefer the layout to the others. I'm not complaining as I still have lounge access obviously and the rooms are very comfortable. Just interesting that I haven't been upgraded to Executive room since 2022. May just be my bad luck of timing. The stays were at a mix of times of year. Off the top of my head, two were for midweek work trips and three were for Saturday shows.
