La Compagnie has joined all of the other airlines who don't care about their customers who are pet parents. They just lowered their in cabin pet weight limit to 8KG (about 17.5 lbs) just like nearly all of the others. So it you want a dog but want/need to take it to Europe, make sure to buy a chihuahua or make a whole lot of money so you can fly private. Way to lose a competitive advantage.
Exactly. I have flown them semi-frequently since 2018 after they started to allow animals - and with this change will not so do anymore. I have voiced my displeasure about the pet weight decrease (
[email protected]), maybe if all the pet owners among their customer base would do the same they'd reconsider.

JSX now seems the best option for premium in-cabin travel with larger dogs. They accept dogs weighing up to 79 pounds if buying a seat. Pricing is more than with 'regular' airlines, but far more accessible than true private flights. Dallas to Vegas can be had for less than $1,000 one way for two seats, that's not bad for a boutique product.
