I don't know: I've only had the ice cream once and while it.was a weird flavor (marshmallow) it was good. And people in the lounge were excited by it!

As to the overall PHL lounge food, I think they need an intervention. I was at the DEN airport this morning and I was struck by how much better the AMEX food was. It was like being at a good US Hyatt Regency. There was even an omelette station! And pork sausages -- none of the culinary restrictions of an Israeli menu. I know PHL has limited space, but hopefully the new lounge competition makes AMEX rethink their offerings.
