Someone just asked about AS bag drop at TBIT on the AS forum, which seems to be "yes" if it's tagged - https://www.flyertalk.com/forum/alas...nnections.html

I've found GE at LAX to be consistently fast. I think clearing TSA at one of the downline terminals (whether T4/5/6) is usually faster than TBIT. The longest part of the layover will likely be waiting for bags, hence having them tagged and dropping them at TBIT is probably most important. Alaska also just moved the checkin cutoff to 50mins (boo).
We arrive on COPA at 5p on one ticket at 5p, then an ongoing Alaska domestic flight on a separate ticket at 9p. We have GE and a toddler with all the associated luggage. What sort of time frame should I plan on for the walk from TBIT to T6 loaded down with kid gear?

Thanks!
