But look at what is/was happening for long-haul when KL was (slowly) introducing W cabin or with AF many years ago when they introduced W : if there was an equipment change for a plane without W (or with a smaller W cabin) : pax were downgraded to Y in the immense majority of cases. I know the comparison is not totally fair, but it's just to illustrate that, from the airline perspective, W is Premium Economy and not "Business minus" or "Business light" ! Otherwise said, it's closer to Economy than Business.
