disagree 100%. I think the revenue enhancement will be minimal at best. The Gold companion will still get E+ on solo trips and will still have to buy up to F as most everyone does now with the lack of CPUs even for 1Ks. The average American family has 2 kids so I don’t see too many families that will be paying for E+ seats or checked bags. And of course there are plenty of trips where the spouses fly solo.

this is all about rewarding the top spending customers and ensuring that a current 1K isn’t bumped by somebody’s spouse.
