Not sure whether this has been addressed in the previous 25 pages, but there seems to be a lot of confusion over the meaning/intent of the term earned status. Is it possible that this term is being used to separate between flyers who obtained their current year status through their own flying record, versus flyers who have a particular status because it was provided to them due to some corporate agreement between their employer and UA?
