Thanks for the update. I am going through something similar with my spouse. She booked a QR flight with AM. There is absolutely no foul play on our part - the points were transferred from my spouse RBC's account to her own AM account (the names match), the ticket is booked under her name, she used her own credit card to pay for the fees/taxes, the flights originate in her country of residence, etc. Yet, CX decided to deactivate her account. The booking is still alive, but we are travelling with an infant (on a separate ticket with me booked with BA) and we are not comfortable with the idea of having her ticket potentially cancelled.
Did you have a particular strategy to get them to reactivate your account? We have reached out
[email protected] and provided our passport copy, but their answer was copy/pasting the terms and conditions.
Has your wife ever credited any real flight miles to CX?
