Thank you for this excellent summary 😉 It’s true that after going back and forth I have finally decided I prefer to rough it for one night and not be worried about getting to PVG on time, ie. around 6am which is brutal in itself even when staying at the airport. 40 minutes in a taxi is also not appealing to me. Maglev sounds like a much better choice. I hope to have a good night’s sleep at the airport and then have a leisurely stroll to the check-in area followed by a nice breakfast in the lounge.
