I fly twice or 3 times a year. I have a SW CC. And I always use points for my WGA flights. After I book a flight, I check daily to see if the flight price decreases so I can "change" the flight and get points back. There's no mention of changes on using points for flights in the announcement. So hopefully that stays the same. That's the only thing I really care about. The ability to get points back when the price goes down. I don't check bags. But with the CC, I can get a free checked bag if needed.
