To be honest for Grab/Bolt I never tip as the mark-up charged over other services really is taking the p*ss. And as we all know, Asia is not a tipping culture, and neither should we let it be. That said, those who know me, know that I once paid a taxi driver a 1,000 THB for a 60 THB ride because of his hospitalised kid (and no, that was not a scam).
