Total betrayal. Arguments can be made that the switch to assigned seating is a strategic move, but this is nothing more than a money grab from Elliott. I can't understand how the rest of the board just caves to what's obviously a campaign to raid the company of resources and leave it destroyed.

This is the death knell for Southwest Airlines as we know it. In five years, WN will declare bankruptcy and start auctioning off assets. In ten years, the company will no longer exist. That's if it's not bought outright by another carrier and merged.
