These are not "scientific" polls and accuracy should be taken with a grain of salt

I suspect the data set for miles flown roughly obeys Benford's Law for totals greater than, say, 10K; if anything, there's probably a greater cluster between 1 and 2 million than you might otherwise expect since the distribution likely really narrows out prior to 10 million.
