I spent quite a long time crafting a reply to the survey American Airlines emailed me last month. Because I had a terrible experience on the flight, most of which was due to staff incompetence, I thought I would get a reply. Radio Silence!
I would never expect a human to read any email that I sent as a reply to an automated / mass email that I received, let alone expect a response. It's not that they ignored your email - they never got it in any meaningful way.
