I know that sofa beds are always sub-par to a good/real bed, but if a hotel is going to advertise it on their booking page, it seems to me that it should be a decent-enough sofa bed. We stayed in a Springhill Suites last night and the sofa bed was just awful - it felt like laying a panel of springs. We called the front desk, but they said there was nothing they could do as all their sofa bed mattresses were the same. I've stayed at other Marriotts (Residence Inn, other Springhill Suites, Courtyards) and it's common for the sofa bed to be bad (though this one last night took the cake). It seems to me that if a hotel is going to advertise it when booking, then it should be a good quality bed.
