They did let me in interestingly, only afterwards did I find out that I shouldn't have been. Ahh well!

And confirm that CX did check our bags all the way through with no concerns.
The transfer in this instance was fairly unpleasant as the security queues took a long, long time. Next time, unlike our bags, we did go cross the border in T5 and saved plenty of time.
